Should I file for Bankruptcy now or wait?

Chapter 7 bankruptcy is a powerful tool to use when you have overwhelming credit card debt, medical bills, repossessions, eviction judgment, qualifying taxes, lawsuit judgments or are being garnished by a creditor or levied by the IRS or State. If you have some of those but can afford your monthly payments and can see a way out by continuing to pay then it’s not time yet.

People come to me every month who can’t pay all their creditors and still keep current on rent or mortgage, insurance, utilities, car payments and still put food on the table.  If you find yourself unable to keep up it’s time to consider filing a bankruptcy now.

If you live in the Coachella Valley, Indio, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indian Wells, or Palm Springs call me at (760) 537-0808 to set up a free consultation on the phone or in my office in Indio.
